Peter Damon-Cronmiller is an emerging composer and musicologist currently completing a Master of Music degree in Composition at the Royal Northern College of Music. He also holds a master's degree in Musicology from King's College, London, where he graduated with distinction. His music has been performed throughout Europe and America by musicians such as the Manchester Contemporary Orchestra and performers at the Mostly Modern Festival. In 2026, his music will be performed by the Mivos Quartet, workshopped by the BBC Singers, and featured in both the EMERGE New Music Concert and the Opera Lucca Composers Institute. His research interests center on how the musical mimesis of early recordings and Ancient Greek Poetic Topoi can be applied to New Complexity's synchronic dimension in his compositional practice.
